Thomas Barbera is a PhD student at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milano-Bicocca (UniMiB). He obtained his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Computer Science at UniMiB respectively in 2021 and 2023.
His main research topics are image and digital signal processing and understanding in the healthcare domain, using primarily machine learning techniques. He is now focusing on analyzing signals obtained from wearable and environmental sensors. In addition, he is involved in the activities of the Anthem research project.
